Continued.....
I drifted back and thought I was back and got up and walked out of the room. Getting out I could see I was in a dream, there was a side room and my sister was in it. I could see her through some clear glass and I tried to push myself through the glass but to no avail. I kept walking to the kitchen and could see a banister leading downstairs and a library, very vivid leading around to a kitchen. My mother was there but she couldn't see me and I started to try and get her attention. I started to snap my fingers on either side of her head and suddenly I snapped back awake. I snapped back pretty hard, not sure why because usually it would just fade out.
I understand that I may get some criticism that what I am doing is just dreaming but I will tell you now that it is very different. Each time I do it is the same, I gradually lose feeling within my body and then begin to feel as if I'm pulling away from my body and from there sometimes I feel as if I'm spinning and flying away and stand up or just stand up but I always feel as if I stand up at the end. When I do it, I know I have done it and I feel myself come back, which is usually within 15 minutes or so.
I believe that our conciousness drifts between other alternate realities all the time, we just call it daydreaming and dreaming. Usually we don't remember our dreams, or remember them afterwards but if you can focus to clear your wandering thoughts, you can experience it firsthand. I think that with focus that you could travel to anywhere and view anyone but as your thoughts are instant, if your thoughts wander then you would drift into other realities. Don't quote me on this however because this is the best I can rationalise it and will continue to try and learn more.
